710 Freeway in Lynwood Area Reopens After Truck Carrying Recycled Glass Overturns

The northbound 710 Freeway reopened Thursday after a recycling truck carrying recycled glass overturned in the Lynwood area and shut down the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials reported that glass was all over the roadway and shut northbound lanes down around 9:30 a.m.

Workers could be seen shoveling the debris from the wreck and the freeway was backed up past Slauson Avenue around 10:10 a.m.

Caltrans tweeted that all lanes of the freeway were reopened just before 1 p.m.
