Storm Might Bring Everything: A storm headed for the Southland today, threatening  heavy downpours, thunderstorms, waterspouts, tornadoes, flash flooding and mud  slides late tonight and again Saturday, forecasters said. Weather Page

Road to Repairs on Mulholland: An e-mail from City Controller Wendy Greuel says the director of street services has identified funds necessary to repair Mulholland Drive, which has been closed since Feb. 8. A motion will go before the council next week. Road repair work is expected to take four to six weeks. The original estimate was $600,000.

Big Rig Meets 30-Ton Crane: One lane is open on the north 14 Freeway at Agua Dulce after a crash that involved a big rig and crane.
