The final judges have yet to be announced but local hopefuls who think they have what it takes to win "American Idol" will be given a home field advantage.

The shows producers announced Los Angeles has been added as the seventh and final city to host auditions for American Idol's 10th season.

"This summer we have had an exceptional turnout – both in the number of people auditioning and the level of their talent," Idol executive producer Ken Warwick said in a statement. "Los Angeles has always delivered great talent, and so we feel it only fitting that we end our 10th season audition tour here in our home city."

Auditions will be held at the Forum. Wrist bands will be given out starting at 7:00am on September 21 until September 22. Auditioners are told they can not camp out. More details are available on the "Idol" audition page.

This years eligibility has been expanded to include people between the ages of 15 to 28. The auditions will begin Wednesday, September 22.

"American Idol" will premiere in January of 2011.
