Unexplained flooding closed down a street Friday  near Culver City, but no evacuations were ordered.

The flooding was reported at 8:44 p.m. in the 8600 block of West Cadillac Avenue, near La Cienega Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"No structures are threatened, no injuries were reported, and no evacuations have been ordered," Humphrey said.
