The Los Angeles Police Department on Thursday announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person or people responsible for the brutal murder of a 75-year-old Arcadia man.

Min Yin was stabbed the morning of Sept. 2, 2011, while he worked at Joy and Louis Corp., a manufacturing business, on the 1300 block of 18th Street in Los Angeles.

The reward was given with the assistance of City Councilwoman Jan Perry who helped the Los Angeles City Council approve the $50,000.

Yin was admitted to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in critical condition. He died as result of his injuries on Dec. 26, 2011.

He was killed in an apparent robbery, according to the LAPD.

Three men are wanted in connection to the stabbing death. The LAPD released sketches of two of the men last week.

The first man was described as Hispanic, about 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, in his 40s.

The second man was described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 4 inches, heavyset with short, dark hair, dark complexion and a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He is believed to be in his early 20s.

The third man was captured on video surveillance (embedded, below), between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds with dark hair. He is in his early- to mid-30s and was wearing a striped shirt.

The LAPD has no leads in the case, according to a spokeswoman from the media relations department.

Anyone with information about these crimes, suspects, or their vehicle is urged to contact LAPD Robbery-Homicide Detective Arroyo at 213-486-6840. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
