3 People Arrested for Running Over Employee in Bicycle Heist

The three suspects were booked for robbery, conspiracy and attempted murder, police said.

Three people allegedly caught on security video robbing a bicycle store in Chino and running over a female employee during their getaway were arrested, Chino police said Tuesday.

Ronald Wolfe, 20, of Frazier Park, Kyle Steward, 20, of Taft and Nichole Stewart, 23, of Taft, were arrested following an extensive investigation that revealed that the trio had been involved in several similar burglaries throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties, the Chino Police Department said.

Surveillance video captured two men enter Incycle on Feb. 12, 2019 and walk out with a bicycle valued at approximately $10,000, with a female driver waiting in a pickup truck. The store manager chased after the men and was run over by the pickup truck.

The manager suffered critical injuries to the head and torso but has since been released from the hospital, police said.

One of the other employees caught up with the pickup truck stuck in traffic and retrieved the stolen property from the back of the pickup truck.
