Authorities Search for Escaped Inmate in San Bernardino County

Prison officials are searching for a 49-year-old inmate firefighter who escaped from the Oak Glen Camp in San Bernardino County.

James Murray was last seen in his dorm room in Yucaipa on Friday night around 8:20 p.m., officials said.

Murray was in prison for second-degree burglary and was incarcerated on Oct. 25, 2012, according to a news release from the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Murray was described as White, with brown hair, blue eyes and 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Oak Glen Conservation Camp Commander at (909) 797-0196.
