Firefighters launched an aggressive air attack Wednesday after a small brush fire began in the hills above Azusa.

County fire crews received the report at 9:41 a.m. County and U.S. Forest Service crews responded to the Morris Dam area (MAP).

At noon, the Reservoir fire was estimated at about five acres.

Aerial units were at the location near 9501 N. San Gabriel Canyon Road. The northbound side of the road was closed.
