A robbery at an 24-hour adult video store overnight in Azusa led to a fatal officer-involved shooting.

A person near the intersection of Gladstone Street and Citrus Avenue flagged down an officer to report the robbery at the strip mall business.

The suspect was uncooperative when the officer attempted to detain him, and an officer-involved shooting occurred, said Lt. Dave Dolson.

The adult male died at the hospital, police said.

Details regarding the event that led to the shooting were not immediately available.

Police said they have identified a few potential witnesses.
