Bad Black Friday Behavior

A woman pepper-sprays competing shoppers at Walmart in Porter Ranch, a group of men get into a fight at a Culver City mall, and more.

Most people were still at home sleeping off the turkey when the reports of bad Black Friday behavior started trickling in.

So far, no one has been trampled to death this year (in 2008, a Walmart worker in suburban New York was trampled to death by a crowd rushing into the store to buy discounted items).

But a woman pepper-sprayed her competition for an Xbox gaming system at a Walmart in Porter Ranch Thursday night, injuring 20 people.

In Escondido, a fistfight broke out among shoppers in the electronics section of a different Walmart, prompting a group of security guards to rush in, a shopper said.

Customer Amy Peter said the confrontation prompted her to abandon electronics for the safer haven of cosmetics.

"I went over to the makeup section," Peter told NBC San Diego's Lauren Steussy. "There weren't even any sales there. I just felt safe."

Another fight broke out in Culver City, outside of an H&M store.
