Students at Beverly Hills High School were evacuated Monday morning and classes canceled after the school received a call regarding a bomb threat, according to police.

The phone threat was received at about 11 a.m. and the school was placed on lockdown. School officials decided to evacuate the building later Monday morning.

The campus was cleared and determined to be safe, with no suspicious package or device located, the Beverly Hills Police Department said just after 1 p.m. As a precaution, school administrators canceled classes.

Police requested that parents do not respond to the school nor nearby Roxbury Park, the evacuation location.
