A SigAlert is expected to remain in effect into Tuesday afternoon following a big rig crash on the southbound 14 Freeway in Canyon Country.
Traffic is backed up on the southbound side of the freeway from near Sand Canyon Road (map) to Seirra Highway after the 4 a.m. crash involving a big rig and another vehicle. The big rig ended up on its side on the shoulder of the road.
The SigAlert was initially expected to expire at about 8:30 a.m., but authorities said later Tuesday morning that at least two lanes will remain closed until about 2 p.m.
