Lanes Reopen After Big Rig Crash

Three vehicles including a big rig crashed on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena Tuesday afternoon, blocking several lanes, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.

Three people were injured in the crash, according to Lisa Derderian with the fire department.

Traffic on the freeway and side streets was reportedly backed up as a result of the collision. Several westbound lanes were backed up and traffic was being diverted off the freeway at Lake Avenue.

Lanes were reopened around 4:30 p.m., just in time for the busy evening commute.

A big rig, a truck and a passenger sedan were involved, Derderian said.

The crash was reported around 2:30 p.m.
