Homicide detectives were conducting an investigation after a body was found stuffed in the trunk of a car Wednesday in San Bernardino, officials said.
Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle at the 600 block of West Courtland Drive shortly after 2:30 p.m., the San Bernardino Police Department said.
Police said residents in the area had reported the vehicle parked there for several days and complained of a foul odor coming from the car.
Police believe foul play was involved and are handling the case as a murder.
The victim has not yet been identified.
