A Caltrans crew found the body of a partially clothed woman Thursday morning near the Riverside Drive on-ramp to the southbound Glendale (2) Freeway in Silver Lake.

Homicide investigators have not identified the body, but the family of missing woman Bree-Anna Guzman gathered at the crime scene. During a candlelight vigil Thursday night for Guzman, the 22-year-old's mother told NBC4 Reporter Jesse Gary that the body found was that of her daughter.

"It looks like this person was just tossed basically off the side of the freeway over there. Doesn't look like somebody tried to hide the body," LAPD Commander Andrew Smith said.

Guzman, a mother of two, had been missing since Dec. 26, when she left her Lincoln Heights home to go to the drugstore.
