High School in Garden Grove Gets “All Clear” After Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation

Police have given Bolsa Grand High School in Garden Grove the all clear  after a bomb threat forced the evacuation of staff and more than 2,000 students Tuesday .

Garden Grove police said nothing was found.

Staff and students were allowed to return to campusabout 3:30 p.m. to gather their belongings.

Parents said they received no text message or email from the school about the threat.

A note was found at the school about 1:45 p.m., prompting the evacuation. Officials let students out of class room by room and directed them to a field where parents were able to pick them up.

"We were scared, we were all hiding," said student David Guevara.

No injuries relating to the threat were reported. One girl was taken to the hospital because of asthma complications.

A three-alarm fire damaged eight classrooms at the high school over the weekend.

Fire officials called the blaze "suspicious." The cause remained under investigation.
