A bomb squad gave the all-clear after a bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Golden West College library Tuesday, police said.
The threat was made in a chat room and claimed there was a bomb in a book, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Police were called at 11:29 a.m. and the library was evacuated as a precaution, officers said. No other buildings were affected.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department bomb squad was called to investigate. They found nothing suspicious inside and allowed students back into the library around 1:30 p.m.
