Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation of LAX Terminal 1

    Police say LAX's Terminal 1 was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016.

    A terminal at Los Angeles International Airport was briefly evacuated Friday afternoon due to a bomb threat, police said.

    The "non-specific" threat was made just before 2 p.m., leading to the evacuation of Terminal 1, airport police said.

    The terminal was reopened before 3 p.m. after the FBI found the threat to be noncredible, airport police said.
