Brr, Baby, It's Cold Outside

Carolers, hot cocoa and shopping sprees ... It's beginning to feel a lot like...

"It feels like I'm in Alaska. I'm shivering, very wildly," said Jadon Nim.

Shoppers in Pasadena on Friday night like Nim are concerned about the cooler temps, though not enough to wear pants.

"I bet that frozen yogurt isn't helping, no," he added. "It's good. We needed the weather change to get a little cooler. It's nice, makes it feel more holiday-type."

Sevada Hemelians shopped with his daughters who are excited about the seasonal wardrobe change.

"I like that we can all wear our jackets 'cause it's really warm in it"

As for Sevada, he recognizes the cold is all a matter perception.

"It's cold for LA," Sevada said. "We're wimps out here. It gets below 65, we don't know what to do. In Chicago it just started to snow."

But one man's winter is another man's winter break

Sean Bloks is home from the University of Chicago for Thanksgiving.

"I used to think it was cold before I started going to school in Chicago and now It's like, 'meh,'" he said.

His friends who stayed in California disagree.
