A car collided with another vehicle in downtown Los Angeles and then crashed into the front window of a restaurant.

Two people were injured Friday morning when their cars collided in downtown Los Angeles. The impact of the collision sent one of the cars through a glass window at a restaurant at the corner of 7th and Flower streets about 5:45 a.m.
Paramedics transported the driver of each vehicle, a man and a woman, to local hospitals.
"They suffered moderate injuries," said Melissa Kelley, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
The restaurant had no structural damage besides the broken window, Kelley added.
The names of the drivers have not been released. The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
