Man Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder at CVS Pharmacy

Police arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after he was accused of attacking a woman at a CVS Pharmacy in Temecula on Monday evening.

Police arrested Brian Eldon Saylor, 31, at a CVS on Rancho California Road after receiving a call about an assault at the store, according to the Temecula Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from serious injuries.

CVS employees detained Saylor before police arrived, and he was taken into custody without further incident, police said.

Eldon was being held in lieu of $1 million bail, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. He is set to appear in court Thursday at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta.

On Tuesday, the woman was in critical condition, said Deputy Armando Munoz of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Police ask that anyone with information on the assault call the Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit at (951) 955-2777 or Temecula Police Department at (951) 696-3000.
