Cal Poly Pomona Police Warn of Man Who Licked Female Student's Feet

Cal Poly Pomona police are warning students of a man who took a female student by surprise when he licked and kissed her feet on campus, then thanked her and walked away.

The man approached the student about 3 p.m. Friday on a grassy area near the front of the men's gym, telling her he needed photos of her bare feet for a class project, said Cal Poly spokeswoman Emily Velasco.

The student agreed and took off her shoes, Velasco said. As the man took images of her feet, he suddenly began licking her toes, then walked off.

"It happened very, very fast," Velasco said. "As she was still processing what was going on, he said 'Thank you' and walked away. She was too in shock to even have reacted by the time that he was finished."

The man went in the direction of Building 86, police said.

The case was being investigated as a simple battery, Velasco said.

He was described as a man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-6-inches tall with a slender build. Police said he had a light complexion with black short hair. He was wearing a gray or blue long sleeve flannel shirt, blue pants and glasses. His phone had a green-colored case.

Anyone with information was asked to call campus police at 909-869-3070.
