A California Highway Patrol officer was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a crash involving several vehicles in the Seal Beach area.
Details regarding the motorcycle officer's condition were not immediately available. The officer's injuries were described as "minor."
The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. on the northbound 405 Freeway near Seal Beach Boulevard. Three lanes are blocked for the crash investigation. All lanes reopened at about 8:30 a.m.
According to the preliminary investigation, the officer was northbound when another vehicle swerved in front of the motorcycle, City News Service reported. No description of the vehicle was immediately available.
