William & Kate's royal itinerary revealed

The world's most famous royal newlyweds will spend three days in California next month.

An official palace spokesman released their itinerary Wednesday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, are due to arrive in the Golden State Friday, July 8. They will attend an evening reception at the British Consular-General residence in Hancock Park.

On July 9, Will is scheduled to take part in a charity polo match at the Santa Barbara Polo Club. The sporting event will benefit the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. Tickets are open to the public, according to organizers.

In the evening, the Royals head to a black-tie affair in downtown L.A. They'll attend a dinner and reception for the British Academy of Film and Television.

July 10 is their last day in California. A palace spokesperson said the couple will have some private time in the morning. Later that day, they'll visit the "Inner-City Arts School," in the heart of L.A.'s Skid Row.
