A silver Porsche crashed in front of the Ayres Hotel in Costa Mesa Friday night, police said.

Aerial footage showed a gnarled car without plates sitting in front of the high-end hotel at 355 Bristol St., a portion of which is closed in front of the hotel.

The condition of the driver or any passengers was not immediately known.

The car appeared to have a decal on the driver’s side for Targa Trophy, an exotic-car club. The organization hosted an event in Orange County on May 11, according to its website.
