A 21-year-old Los Angeles man was killed early Sunday when the Honda Civic he was in slammed into a power pole in City Terrace, officials said.
The crash happened on Eastern Avenue at Folsom Street at 1:03 a.m.
Louis Garcia died at the scene, officials said.
Authorities notified Southern California Edison to cut electricity to the affected lines while repairs were made.
