A woman died Saturday in a fire at a home in Carson, county fire officials said.
The fire was reported at 5:40 p.m. at 943 E. 222nd St., said Supervisor Malanie Flores of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The victim, identified only as an older woman, was confirmed dead at the scene, Flores said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
