Fire damaged a furniture display and mattress manufacturing building Thursday morning in Carson.
The fire was reported at midnight at the one-story commercial building in the 20000 block of Leapwood Avenue near Del Amo Boulevard, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Robert Diaz. It was mostly contained to the mattress manufacturing portion of the building, Diaz told City News Service.
The flames were put out at 1:10 a.m. It could take until later in the morning to be sure there are no flare-ups.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire was under investigation, he said.
