Surveillance Video Shows Possibly Underage Girl Swiping Rum: Owner

A liquor store owner says his Bellflower store has been the target of many thieves, including one caught on camera who he says appears to be a teenage girl.

Albert Delgado, the owner of Cheap Corner Liquor on Bellflower Boulevard, said his store has been hit three times by thieves in the past three months -- the most recent occurrence on Wednesday.

Surveillance tape shows what Delgado says is a young girl -- between 16-to-17-years old, he says -- walking into the store with a young man.

The thief, who's wearing shorts, sneakers and a shirt with a "Superman" logo, looks back at the store counter before grabbing a bottle of rum and sprints out the side door.

Delgado said he went from sad to angry while viewing the surveillance footage, and he hopes the thieves will learn a lesson.

"Just think twice before you do anything bad and do what's right," he said. "I'm sure her parents taught her better."

Delgado said he filed a police report.
