Police released surveillance video Thursday that shows three men taking church collection money from two employees in the parking lot of a Van Nuys church.

The masked men pulled up to the church Monday at 14300 Sherman Way in a four-door car and confronted the two church employees who were transporting the money. One of the robbers struck an employee in the head and took cash from a vehicle in the parking lot.

The robbers ran back to the car -- described as a grey four-door with a dealer paper rear plate -- and fled south on Sherman Way. The heist was completed in about 10 seconds.
