A Los Angeles city councilman asked fellow council members Thursday to consider special zones for people who sleep in RVs and cars in Venice

L.A. Councilman Bill Rosendahl said the overnight camping sites could be city property, church parking lots, industrial areas and other places away from neighborhoods.
