A Coachella man was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday to face allegations that he exposed himself to two girls while driving an ice cream truck.
Israel Valdez Ayala, 40, was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure on April 20, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Monday.
On April 15 about 3:30 p.m., Ayala allegedly exposed himself to a girl while selling ice cream in the area of Mazatlan Drive in Coachella.
A second alleged incident happened on April 20 at 3:15 p.m. in the area of Pedro Drive in Coachella, according to deputies.
"The same male, driving the same vehicle again exposed himself to a female juvenile while selling ice cream. Officers searched the area and located the suspect who was positively identified and arrested," wrote deputies in a news release.
Ayala was released on bail and expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
