A couple was left devastated after $20,000 worth of tools for their new business was taken after their truck was stolen in the city of Orange.
Vera and Dave Turner only recently moved to the area on Baldwin Avenue, and had invested in the equipment for their plumbing company. Surveillance video captured the vehicle being stolen early Sunday, and it later turned up in Compton.
Dave Turner said he was "overjoyed" the truck had been recovered, but confirmed their expensive tools had been stolen. It was an especially big blow for the couple, as they are expecting a baby in a few months.
However it looks like the kindness of strangers could help them get back on track. A new GoFundMe campaign has already raised more than $4,000 to help the couple.
