A big rig driver was killed Thursday morning in a crash involving a stalled semitrailer truck on an Orange County freeway.
Details regarding the victim's identity were not immediately available. Two people were hospitalized with what authorities described as major injuries.
The crash, which also involved a sport utility vehicle, occurred just after midnight on the eastbound 91 Freeway in Buena Park, about five miles north of Anaheim. Lanes remained closed at 6 a.m. for the crash investigation and debris removal.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash struck another truck that was stalled on the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. Fire-rescue personnel attempted to extricate at least one victim from the wreckage.
