A cyclist was critically injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Bell Gardens late Tuesday.
He was hit at the intersection of Gage and Eastern avenues at around 11:23 p.m, a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman said.
After the crash he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
