A bicyclist was killed Sunday morning after riding through a red light and colliding with a vehicle.
Authorities responded to the crash around 7 a.m. near the intersection of Glendale and California avenues.
The cyclist, identified as a Glendale man in his late 20s, was riding at a fast pace when he passed through the intersection and was struck by a motorist, according to the Glendale Police Department.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, was stopped at the scene and was released by police.
The man was taken to USC Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
