The Los Angeles Police Department's elite Robbery Homicide Division is investigating a fight in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium that seriously wounded a man after a Dodgers-Mets playoff game Friday.
To fans passing in the dark, it may have looked like a routine paramedic call: Person on the ground, first responders giving aid. But it was the aftermath of a fight that was captured by a viewer on video.
Police said surveillance videos, perhaps those from the Dodger Stadium parking lot itself, are being examined to locate the attacker.
A friend of the victim said he is from Bakersfield and that he's still in the hospital.
Police said the man is listed in "critical but stable condition."
The incident recalls the Brian Stow case, almost five years ago.
The Giants fan was beaten nearly to death in the Dodger Stadium parking lot, also after a game.

Louie Sanchez and Marvin Norwood were arrested for the crime. Stow won an $18 million judgment against former Dodgers owner Frank McCourt last year over security issues in the parking lot after games.
Since Stow's attack, the LAPD and the Dodgers organization have worked tirelessly to increase patrols, both with officers and private security, officials said.
But the friend of the man attacked on Friday said the lot is still a dangerous place because it's "not well-lighted."
