Chris Taylor can rake.
Taylor knocked in three runs and the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Minnesota Twins, 6-2, on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium.
After starting the game 0-for-2, Taylor delivered RBI doubles in the fourth and sixth innings to add to his hot-hitting in the month of July.
Taylor leads MLB in batting average in the month of July, batting .440. Since the All-Star break, Taylor is batting .520 with nine runs, five doubles, three triples, two homers and nine RBI.
"He's a solid player," said teammate Logan Forsythe. "His success is going to continue. There was a little struggle at some point, but he knew what he had to do to get out of it. I think he's going to continue to impress the rest of the year."
The Twins started the scoring with an RBI single by Zack Granite in the top of the third inning off Dodgers right-hander Kenta Maeda.
Los Angeles responded with four runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to RBI by Joc Pederson, Yasiel Puig and Pederson.

Meada (9-4) left the game with the lead after five innings, allowing just two runs (one earned) on five hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
The Japanese right-hander improved to 4-0 with a 1.64 ERA against the American League this season, including three games against AL Central opponents (Twins, Royals and White Sox).
Jose Berrios (9-4) took the loss, allowing four runs on seven hits with one walk and three strikeouts in four short innings.
After an 18-minute delay because of an illegal double switch by Twins' manager Paul Molitor in the bottom of the sixth inning, the Boys in Blue broke the game open with back-to-back RBI by Logan Forsythe and Taylor.
"I was constantly moving throughout the delay," Forsythe said. "It was crazy. I've never been part of that long of a delay. I ran sprints and then stuck with my plan at the plate. Luckily I got a ball over the plate and was able to go up the middle with it and get a big run for us."
The Dodgers bullpen threw four scoreless innings thanks to the efforts of Luis Avilan and recently recalled right-hander Josh Ravin. Ravin, who was called up from Triple-A OKC prior to Monday's game, threw a career-high three shutout innings.
Los Angeles became the first team in baseball to win their 70th game of the season, and extended their MLB record of 48 consecutive victories win taking a lead.
Minnesota falls below .500 (49-50) for the first time since April 27 when they were 10-11.
The Dodgers improved to 11-3 in Interleague play this season and are currently riding a seven-game win streak against the American League.
