The Dodgers will keep centerfielder Matt Kemp out of the lineup Wednesday after he collided with the outfield fence Tuesday night against the Rockies in Denver.

Tests showed no structural damage to Kemp's left knee and jaw, both of which struck the wall as he tried to chase down a fly ball off the bat of Josh Rutledge at Coors Field in the first inning. Kemp crumpled to the warning track and went to the dugout two batters later.

He was listed as day-to-day on the Dodgers injury report with a bruised left knee.

"He feels like a truck hit him," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly told the Associated Press.

On Monday, Kemp ran into a screened fence in front of the Dodgers' bullpen at Coors Field.

The Dodgers lost Wednesday's game, 8-4, falling 3 1/2 games behind San Francisco.
