Dogs Rescued From Middle of 210 Freeway in Fontana

Dogs were described as shaking and scared, but unharmed

Two dogs that wandered onto a freeway in Fontana were rescued shaking and scared but unharmed, officials said.

The dogs, described as strays, were found near the divider on the westbound 210 Freeway near the Beech Avenue exit, the Fontana Police Department said.

The Fontana Animal Services rescued the pups around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when called to assist California Highway Patrol officers.

The dogs, in good condition, were taken to the Western Riverside County Animal Shelter, police said.
