Officials come to the aid of a double shooting victim in Mar Vista on Friday, March 28, 2014.

Police are looking for the suspects involved in a Mar Vista shooting that injured two males early Friday morning.

Around 1:55 a.m. LAPD responded to a call of shots fired at the corner of Inglewood Avenue and Venice Boulevard.

Upon arrival, police found two males with bullet wounds and a car with bullet holes in the back windshield.

One man was shot several times in the back and is undergoing surgery, police said. The other man was shot in the ankle. The two men were not cooperating with police, according to an NBC4 report

Both victims have been transported to local hospitals.

There are reports that suggest the shooting may have started as a fight outside a sports bar.

The crime scene was still active as of 6 a.m. Friday.

Police are looking for more than one male Hispanic suspect.

It is unclear whether this incident was gang-related.
