A driver led officers on a chase in dense fog early Tuesday morning through South Los Angeles.
The chase started at around 5:40 a.m. near the 405 and 105 freeways near Hawthorne, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver in a white sedan evaded officers several times, at one point crashing over a curb and driving on grass near an exit ramp to get around a cruiser. Officers used a PIT manuever to spin his car, ending the chase on an Inglewood street.
The driver was taken into custody.
It was not immediately clear what led to the pursuit.
