A stolen vehicle suspect led authorities on a chase through downtown Los Angeles before abandoning the pickup truck in Boyle Heights late Monday.
The driver of a stolen black pickup truck weaved his way through the city's streets, at times driving on the wrong side of the road and even narrowly missing a bicyclist and other drivers.
The brief pursuit ended shortly after 10 p.m. when the driver jumped out of the truck near an apartment complex in Boyle Heights.
He attempted to run from police, but was quickly taken into custody following a foot pursuit through the complex.
