The owner of a valley driving school has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a student, and investigators on Thursday said they believe there may be more alleged victims.

Joselito Valencia Danan, 44, was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery of a juvenile after one of his students accused him of inappropriate touching during a driving lesson, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The 17-year-old student told police the incident happened on Aug. 16, LAPD said.

Employees at the Valleywide Driving School in Granada Hills say they were shocked to learn of the charges levied against Danan, and described him as a "family man."

Detectives are asking for anyone with information to contact Devonshire Area Detectives Solomon or Dingman at (818) 832-0609.
