A woman who police said was driving drunk plowed her car into a home in Anaheim early Sunday, crashing through a wall into a room where someone was asleep in bed.

The driver’s car burst into flames and caused a fire in the house, but residents of the home were not harmed, police said.

Still, the smell of smoke lingered into the morning.

Police have not identified the driver, but Anaheim police Lt. Mark Cyprien said she did not pass a sobriety test.
