Minor Quake Strikes Near Big Bear City

A magnitude-3.5 earthquake struck near Big Bear City late-Thursday morning.

The epicenter (map) was located 3 miles north of Big Bear City, 11 miles of south-southeast of Lucerne Valley and 82 miles east-northeast of Los Angeles.

The quake hit at 11:18 a.m. and had a depth of 3 miles.
