A magnitude-3.8 earthquake was reported early Wednesday near Marina Del Rey.

Residents from the Marina Del Rey area to North Hollywood and South LA  reported shaking early Wednesday after a magnitude-3.8 earthquake.

The quake was centered about one mile southeast of Marina Del Rey. The quake had a depth of 5.6 miles, according to the USGS.

The Los Angeles Fire Department conducted damage surveys after the jolt. They examined residential buildings, schools, places where people  gather, power lines and critical infrastructure.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
