A magnitude-3.0 earthquake was reported late Thursday morning off the Southern California coast, according to the USGS.
The offshore quake occurred at 11:09 a.m. about 15 miles southwest of Dana Point.
Weak shaking was reported in Dana Point, Aliso Viejo, Ladera Ranch and San Diego, according to the USGS. There were no reports of damage.
