A tanker truck carrying milk overturned Monday morning on a freeway transition road near downtown Los Angeles.
The tanker crashed on the transition from the westbound 10 Freeway to the northbound 5 Freeway. The crash was reported at 10 a.m.
A SigAlert is expected to remain in effect until at least 2 p.m. At mid-day, crews were preparing the lift the tanker into an upright position.
The driver was hospitalized in good condition, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department alert.
