Police Arrest 1, Search for Another After Fake U2 Tickets Sold on Craigslist

Been sold a fake U2 ticket on Craigslist? Police need your help catching the scammer.

On Sunday, the Los Angeles Police Department arrested one person who was allegedly selling bogus tickets online to the rock band's Saturday concert at the Forum, police said.

Two people reported buying tickets on Craigslist that they found out were fake. Police didn't know if any other people fell victim to the scam or how long the advertisement for the tickets was posted.

With another concert coming up June 3, police are searching for another possible ticket scammer, according to an LAPD representative.

U2 has already performed four shows at the Forum since May 26 on its Innocence + Experience tour. The "With or Without You" band travels next to Denver and Montreal.

Police ask anyone with else who bought a fake U2 ticket or knows about the scam on Craigslist to call police at 213-485-3294.
